Ever struggled to take your photographs from your computer screen to a beautiful fine-art print?

Join me for an exclusive, hands-on four-hour workshop in the beautiful surroundings of BEAR in Wimborne, combining professional demonstrations, personalised tuition and dedicated time to work on your own photography.

With just three photographers per session, we'll explore the entire creative journey from processing to print. You'll have plenty of time to edit your own images in Lightroom and Photoshop, with me on hand to offer individual guidance, creative advice and practical processing techniques throughout.

Together, we'll cover screen calibration, colour management, preparing and sharpening images for print, soft proofing and achieving consistent results using Canon Professional Print & Layout.

We'll then bring your photographs to life using the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-310 and a selection of beautiful Fotospeed fine-art papers, exploring how different papers influence the final image.

Process to Print - Small Group Tuition

You'll leave with approximately 3–5 prints of your own photographs, a better understanding of the printing process and, most importantly, the confidence to continue creating beautiful prints yourself.

Whether you're completely new to printing or looking to refine your existing workflow, this is an opportunity to slow down, enjoy the creative process and discover just how rewarding printing your own photography can be.

Because a photograph shouldn't have to live its entire life on a screen!

All printing materials are included. Please bring your own laptop, editing software and photographs. Print quantities depend on individual progress and available time.

Included:

  • 4 hours of hands-on processing and printing tuition, combining structured demonstrations with dedicated time to edit your own photographs

  • Personalised 1-2-1 processing support, creative advice, tips and techniques throughout

  • Guidance on screen calibration, colour management, soft proofing, sharpening and preparing images for print

  • Hands-on experience using the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-310 printer and Canon Professional Print & Layout software

  • A selection of Fotospeed fine-art papers to explore different finishes and textures

  • Approximately 3–5 fine-art A3 prints of your own photographs to take home (final prints subject to available time and individual progress)

Excluded:

  • Your own laptop with Adobe Lightroom Classic and/or Photoshop installed and ready to use (or alternative software, everyone is welcome!)

  • A selection of your own RAW files or edited photographs to work on

  • Portfolio or way of transporting your prints home, please bring something so they don’t get damaged in transit (portfolio, binder, anything that will fit A3)

  • Insurance (health, accident and photographic/computer equipment).

  • Travel and accommodation, if required.

  • Food and refreshments (available to purchase at BEAR, please see menu here - I’ve tried it all and can confirm it’s all EPIC).
