Dorset Landscape Photography Group Workshop (Max 6 Participants)
This group workshop will be limited to just 6 people, ensuring you get our full attention throughout and experience some of our favourite locations in their best conditions. When adding the workshop to your basket, please let us know of any individual requirements and what you’d personally like to achieve from the session.
Between us we will cover everything from planning a sunrise/sunset, understanding how weather and conditions should dictate locations you visit, and how to use the seasons to your advantage. You will only require a basic understanding of how your camera works, with plenty of time for us to show you some best practices of how to set it up with a focus for landscape photography.
Each workshop is completely unique, depending solely on the conditions and weather on the day - we will work with this to create different types of images and get the best from whatever skies/light we have on the day. You will receive honest feedback and advice to help you on your landscape photography journey, no matter what your current experience.

West Dorset (TBC Depending on Weather Forecast)
Fitness Level
Moderate (No more than 15-20 minutes gradual walking to each location)
Included
7-8 hours of tuition
Best practices for planning a shoot - including what apps to use and making the most of all weather
Use of NiSi Filters with prior agreement

Insurance (health, accident, and equipment)
Accommodation (recommendations can be given on request if travelling)
Transport to and from a meeting point prior to and after workshop
Food and refreshments (flask of preferred hot drink recommended)
Suitable clothing, waterproofs, walking shoes and tripods

Camera gear and tripod
Shutter release or intervalometer
Memory cards and spare batteries (2-3 recommended)
Polariser and ND filters (I will have demo sets available on the day if needed)
Recommended
Lenses ranging from 24-400mm (70-200mm or 100-400mm recommended for long distance views)
Rain cover (I just use shower caps, will have some available on the day)

Ben Kapur
Ben Kapur is a Professional Photographer based in the South of the UK. He grew up in the Dorset town of Lyme Regis, so naturally has a love for the exploring and photographing the wonderful Jurassic Coastline
He was fortunate enough to win "Scotlands Photo of the Year" for 2020 with his image "The Storm of Storr" this is his proudest achievement to date.
Ben has incredible videography experience, so can also offer tuition on this if it’s of interest - just ask!
Jack Lodge
Jack Lodge is a professional landscape, nature and wildlife photographer from Wimborne, Dorset in the South West of England, UK.
Through his photography, Jack strives to capture the change of each season, documenting the ever changing landscapes as the light and weather change - capturing the beauty surrounding us.
His teaching style is very open, encouraging and has a focus on sharing positivity through photography.
